General Terms of Trade

General Terms of Trade

These General Terms of Trade apply to all goods and services supplied by Airflow Engineering (SI) Ltd.
They may be updated from time to time without notice. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply.


How We Do Business

We keep things straightforward.

  1. You ask us to help with your HVAC requirements.

  2. We provide pricing that reflects fair value and quality workmanship.

  3. Once you place an order, we confirm pricing, quantities, and estimated delivery time.

  4. We aim to supply goods on or before the required date, or we will advise you if there is a delay.


Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are exclusive of GST, unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment is required prior to collection or dispatch, unless credit has been approved by our accounts department.

  • Where credit has been approved, payment must be made on or before the 20th of the month following the invoice date.

Late or Non-Payment

  • Late payments may incur interest at our bank’s standard overdraft rate.

  • Orders and quotes may be placed on hold until accounts are brought up to date.

  • In cases of continued non-payment, we reserve the right to suspend the account and engage a collections agency. Any associated recovery costs will be payable by you.


Delivery

  • Goods will be delivered using a carrier we consider appropriate, offering reasonable rates and reliable service.

  • Rural delivery charges apply where applicable.

  • Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery.


Returns & Credits

All returns are subject to our Returns & Warranty Policy.

  • Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 30 days, approved in advance, and returned in original condition.

  • A Returns Form must be completed prior to returning any goods. Please contact us first.

  • Where an incorrect supply was not our responsibility, a restocking fee of 20% or $20 (whichever is greater) may apply.

  • Special order, customised, or made-to-specification items are not eligible for return unless faulty.


Faulty or Damaged Goods

  • Faulty or damaged goods will be assessed and resolved promptly in line with our Warranty Policy and New Zealand Consumer Law.

  • Any damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or abnormal use is not covered.


Consumer Guarantees & Business Purchases

  • Goods acquired for personal, domestic, or household use are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  • Where goods are acquired for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply. You may have rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1908 or other applicable legislation.


Product Quality & Value

With Airflow, HVAC, and Lasercut products, price alone is not the deciding factor in what we offer.

You may find cheaper products elsewhere, but we focus on:
