Adhesive S42 Aerosol Clear 500ml

Product Overview

SabreGrip S42 is a high-strength, non-chlorinated spray contact adhesive developed for acoustic panels, polyester linings and other high-strength bonding applications.

It combines fast tack, high initial strength and a long open time with a highly controllable spray pattern, making large-area bonding fast and efficient.

The low-odour formulation offers high heat resistance and is also safe for bonding polystyrene.

Application

Apply adhesive to both surfaces being bonded. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, loose paint and other contaminants.

For best results, the adhesive and surfaces should be between 16°C and 27°C during application.

Allow the adhesive to tack off before bringing the surfaces together, then apply firm, even pressure. A roller is recommended to achieve uniform pressure and maximum bond strength.

Allow approximately 24 hours for full cure.

Note: For overhead applications, a perimeter bead of suitable construction adhesive must also be used.

Not recommended for use with plasticised vinyl substrates.
